About DBS Select

DBS Select is an educational tool to better inform patients and caregivers on deep brain stimulation.

The content is all evidence-based and continuously updated by the team of KU Leuven (neurologists, neurosurgeons and neuroscientists). DBS Select collaborates with the different DBS companies equally, thus avoiding any bias. Visitors from any region or hospital are welcome, and will continue their care at their own medical center or hospital.

The project was funded by EIT Health, and was officially opened in November, 2019. Current partners are Abbott, Boston Scientific and Medtronic.
