DBS Select is a guided tour with information about Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). Patients, caregivers, and health professionals are educated on who is eligible for DBS, how the surgery is performed, and what symptoms usually improve with DBS. The short- and long-term effects of DBS and daily life with DBS (e.g. recharging the battery) are discussed. The tour is offered on-site in Leuven, or online.
